Meet our Founders
Meet Maryam and Nivaal Rehman, our founders and award-winning storytelling experts who have 18+ years of combined experience. They also have over 28 years of combined experience in advocacy for numerous causes, especially gender equality and environmental sustainability, which they continue when running their own international nonprofit, The MNR Foundation.

Maryam and Nivaal are especially dedicated to helping others increase their impact through storytelling. As strong advocates for using multimedia for social good, the twins have worked with corporations and organizations including the Walt Disney Company, The UN Girl Up Campaign, the World Bank's Global Partnership for Education, and the UN Girls' Education Initiative to name a few. Their desire to create Stories At The Table emerged from a recognition that storytelling is one of the most powerful tools of our time which needs to be channelled positively to fulfill its truest potential.
